There’s a Whole Campus Ready to Support You!

Moving onto campus is a huge milestone—and while there’s a lot of excitement, it’s also completely normal to feel a little out of place or lonely in the beginning. Building new connections and routines takes time; the good news is that you don’t have to do it alone.

Patriots Thriving Together is George Mason’s go-to hub for well-being, serving students, faculty, and staff. It’s designed to help you discover what well-being looks like for you. This website includes a curated list of free, on-campus resources that help you feel connected and supported.

We believe in a holistic experience available to students to grow and develop while living on campus. My passion is to make sure that if students living with us want it, they can have an enhanced experience while living in a Residential Learning Community.”

- Colton Goodman, Assistant Director of Residence Life

These moments of connection can spark friendships that last all year (or even a lifetime). You don’t have to have everything figured out right away. Start by simply reaching out and showing up.

You’re not alone—there’s a whole campus ready to support you. Prioritize your well-being, explore resources, and give yourself space to grow. You’ve got this!
