Hampton Roads Hall

Hampton Roads is a suite style hall housing about 450 upper-level students located directly across from the Rappahannock River Parking Deck. Suite style means two to five students in double, triple, or single bedrooms share a bathroom within the suite. Each floor has lounges, study rooms, and community kitchenettes for students to socialize​. The first floor has a full community kitchen and The Spot. The building also has a shared laundry facility.

Room Styles Available: 

At Hampton Roads, you can choose from several room styles depending on your preference for privacy, space, and number of roommates. Here’s a simple breakdown of each option:

Single Room Option:  2 beds total (Single, Single)

• Two separate single bedrooms
• Each student has their own private bedroom
• Ideal if you prefer more privacy while still living near others

Double Room Option - 4 beds total (Double, Double)

• Two double-occupancy bedrooms
• Two students per bedroom
• A great option if you enjoy a more social living experience

Suite Economy (Triple & Double) Option - 5 beds total (Suite Economy Triple, Double)

• One triple-occupancy bedroom (3 students)
• One double-occupancy bedroom (2 students)
• A budget-friendly suite option with a mix of room sizes

Suite Triple Option- 3 beds total

• One triple-occupancy bedroom
• Three students share one bedroom
• A more affordable option within a shared suite setting

Closest Dining Hall: Southside Dining or The Spot (alternative dining option)

Closest Amenities: The HUB, Lecture Hall, Starbucks, Merten Hall, Peterson Hall
