Welcome to the new academic year! As the Associate Dean and Chief Housing Officer, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to both our new and returning students!
Mason Housing is an integral part of your college experience, providing not just a place to live but also a community where you can grow, learn, and thrive. To enhance your residential experience, our priority is to provide you with a safe, convenient, connected, and inclusive environment that supports academic excellence, fosters personal growth, and champions the well-being of our residents.
Through collaboration and intentional programming, Housing and Residence Life ensures the success of each resident, by supporting them and allowing them to thrive at Mason and beyond.
Our maintenance and housekeeping staff strives to keep the residence halls safe and clean; we take pride in our rapid response and diligent efforts to keep our residence halls serviced, and routine maintenance is put into practice.
With 40 residence halls, living on campus makes it easier for our residential students to connect with their peers and conveniently access campus resources while supporting their academic excellence. Our dedicated Housing staff transforms our well-maintained buildings into living spaces that create welcoming communities. We strive to empower our residents to connect with their peers and achieve academic success.
On-campus living is a vital part of our residents’ educational experience. With our student populations in mind, Mason Housing and Residence Life have carefully crafted a residential curriculum that provides a supportive, educational, and exciting on-campus living experience.
