About Piedmont/Tidewater Halls
Piedmont and Tidewater are suite style halls connected to each other housing about 350 students located in the center of campus. Piedmont holds first-year students, and sometimes is also used for upper level residential students.
Tidewater holds upper-level students. Suite style means two to five students in double, triple, or single bedrooms share a bathroom within the suite. Each floor has a central lounge for students to socialize. The building also has a shared laundry facility and community kitchen. The 24-hour service desk and Dunkin' Donuts are located on the first floor. Tidewater is the home of the STEM Solutions & Sustainable Futures and LGBTQ+ Residential Learning Communities.
