Book Ahead of Time
Please request your family or group tour at least two weeks in advance. If you're delayed, contact our housing desk team or our tour ambassador. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a self-guided tour or rescheduling.

Dress Comfortably
Tours last about an hour, so wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. In case of light rain, bring a small umbrella. For heavier rain, our tour ambassador may reschedule your tour.

Special Accommodation
All of our tours are walking tours, so let us know if anyone in your group needs special accommodations. We will do our best to meet your accessibility requirements. If you plan to meet with a specific department, schedule it after your tour.

Housing Tour Schedule:

 

The housing tours will run from February 3rd, 2025  up to May 5th, 2025

Weekdays: 11 am and 1 pm 

Saturdays: 11 am, 1 pm & 2.30 pm

 

The housing tour policy allows cancellations with a 24 advance notice, by emailing us on housing.gmu.edu, and each tour is limited to a maximum of 30 participants.

Traditional Style Housing

Traditional-style residence halls means the rooms on the floor/wing share a community bathroom (with same gender). Most rooms are double or triple occupancy, but a few single rooms are available.

Suite Style Housing

 Suite-style residence halls have two rooms connected by a bathroom in the middle. Most rooms are double occupancy, with a few single occupancy rooms. Each floor has a central lounge space for students to socialize. There is also a shared laundry facility in the residence hall building
