2025-2026 Important Housing Dates
Dates listed below are based on the academic calendar and are subject to change.
May 14
Spring Semester 2025 Move-Out
Residents who are not approved for extended stay, are required to move-out by 5pm.
August 1
SciTech Early Arrival Begins
August 17
Early Arrival Move-In
Approved Students can move-in for early arrival. Upper-level students are eligible. Housing Application opens on the Housing Portal on July 1st - August 1st.
August 20-21
First Year Move-In
First Years/Freshmen can move into their assigned residence halls.
August 22-23
Upper-Level Students Move-In
Upper-level students can move into their assigned residence halls.
August 24
Remaining Residents Move-In

Winter Break/Extended Stay/Early Arrival Application Launch
Students can access the application in the Housing Portal. Students who apply for & receive Winter Break Housing will be assessed a fee. Application close December 1st. Early Arrival for Spring 2026 housing, applications remain open till Jan 5th 2026.
November 26-30
Thanksgiving Break
Residences halls remain open throughout the break.

Academic Year 2026-2027 Housing Applications Open
Academic Year 2026-2027 Housing Applications will open for freshmen and for upper-level, returning students.
December 17
Residence Halls Close @ 5:00pm
Residence Hall closure - Students not approved for Winter Break Housing or Extended Stay need to leave for winter break by 5:00pm.
December 22
Winter Break Extended Stay Check Out @ 9:00am
Students who were approved for an extended stay need to check out by December 23, at 9:00 am
January 11
Spring 2026 Early Arrival Move-In
Residents approved for early arrival housing can access their spring space.
January 16
Spring 2026 Move-In
New and returning students not approved for early arrival may move in for the Spring semester.
March 9-15
Spring Break
Residence halls remain open. No application to stay is necessary.

Graduate Student AY 26-27 Housing Applications Open, Summer School Housing Applications Open
Academic Year 2026 -2027 Housing Applications goes live for Graduate Students. Summer School Housing application goes live. We accept applications on a rolling basis and accommodate students as space becomes available.

Academic Year 2026-2027 Housing Application Goes Live
All full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students who have not already applied for the upcoming academic year can apply for housing.
May 13
Residence Halls Close
Residence Hall closure for Spring 2026 Semester. Unless approved to stay, all residents must check out by May 13th, at 5:00 pm. Students who are not graduating or residing on campus for the summer will need to check out by May 13th, at 5:00 pm
