About Beacon Hall

Living on campus at Beacon Hall, located at George Mason University's SciTech Campus in Manassas, offers graduate students unmatched convenience and a focused, supportive academic and professional growth environment. You'll be just steps away from state-of-the-art research facilities, academic buildings, and networking opportunities with fellow scholars. Beacon Hall provides comfortable, modern amenities with a quiet, study-friendly atmosphere, perfect for balancing your coursework and research. Additionally, living on campus fosters a strong sense of community, with access to social and professional events, as well as all the resources the university has to offer.

Beacon Hall is an apartment-style hall housing 200 graduate students located on the Sci-Tech campus in Manassas, offering graduate and doctoral students a selection of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bed/two-bath apartments. Apartment style means one or two students in single bedrooms with private bathrooms sharing a living room and kitchen within the apartment. The building has lounges and study rooms for students to socialize.

Dining Options at Beacon Hall
Beacon Hall residents can choose from Independence, Liberty, Dining Dollars, and Patriot meal plans. Meal plans can be used at the Randalls Café here at SciTech Campus and any dining locations in Fairfax Campus and Mason Square.

Beacon Hall offers fully furnished apartments with a variety of layouts to accommodate different preferences and needs

Each apartment includes private bedrooms and bathrooms, providing residents with personal space and comfort

2024-2025 Beacon Hall Room Rates

Beacon Hall rates cover the cost of housing from August through May. The rates do not include the $150 Housing and Residence Life application fee. Meal plans are not required for residents living in Beacon Hall.

All Beacon residents must be enrolled in a graduate-level program. Currently, Housing and Residence Life does not offer on-campus housing for families.
